Call for Donations – Central Asia on Horseback
Last summer, we self-financed our first independent horse trek (no guides, no back up vehicles, just us and the horses). We successfully became the first riders to trek across Albania, 800km and 7-weeks later. It was an incredible learning experience for us as adventurers and we want to share that knowledge.
Since then we’ve created and registered a non-profit association – En Selle. That’s right, our project is official!
En Selle promotes:
Responsible travel, like by bicycle or horseback
Respect for animals and nature
Pushing past one’s limits and getting out there to experience adventure!
This summer, En Selle is going to Central Asia — 1500km across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tadjikistan. We’ll cross paths with the ghosts of Genghis Khan, Marco Polo and all the Silk Road’s most notorious nomadic peoples, living and dead.
All donations, from €5-500 will be joyfully received and will go directly to this trek, mostly for equipment. At the end of the trek, we will ship the equipment back to France, and loan it out to other adventurers that are members of the En Selle association.
To make this trek successful, we are raising money via a crowdfunding campaign to help cover costs of quality equipment, which in turn means we’ll have a safer and more comfortable journey. If you are an outdoor company who would like to make a donation of equipment, please contact us directly via our contact page.
If you'd like to make a financial donation, click the "Donate" button below to help us make this trip happen. The button will lead you to our Paypal page, 100% secured payment.
PS : Here is a link to a presentation that explains all the details of our trek: the objectives, the itinerary, the budget - it's all there!
Thank you so much for your continued support!
